Meet Dr. Claudia Rios-Datta
Dr. Rios is a pioneer in cryo-sclerotherapy, which quickly turned spider vein treatments into pain-free, minimally invasive, outpatient procedures in 2000.
She received her medical degree from the Universidad Libre De Cali, in her native Colombia. Dr. Rios moved to New York where she completed her Internal Medicine residency at Jacobi Medical Center – Albert Einstein School of Medicine.
In 2010 Dr. Rios joined the Vein Treatment Center where she received specialized training working with Doctor Luis Navarro who is a pioneer in the field of phlebology and the developer of endovenous laser ablation for the treatment of varicose veins.
She has dedicated her career to the treatment of superficial vein insufficiency, spider veins, and varicose veins helping patients alleviate their symptoms and feel better while attending the cosmetic aspect of the treatment of vein disease.
